ESCC event Recap in the words of ScalerFab Team Driver, Steve Studstill

ScalerFab Team Driver Steve Studstill tells us of his fun experiences at the recent ESCC event with his Class 1 and Class 2 Trucks!

February 19, 2017 ECSS on the beach. Beautiful Sunday morning in Georgia on Lake Lanier would be the setting for the second class 1 and first class 2 event of this year. The rocks were wet from morning dew and ready for action. The courses for class 2 were very hard and very technical. With 20 rigs entered for that day, finishing 8th Place was the best I could do. Knowing my mistakes and how to better myself next time will be my satisfaction in this finish today.

Class 1 event followed and with 12 entries, we were ready. A total of 20 gates and almost a 1/4 mile of beach to cover, we started but taking almost 2 hours to finish my battery just didn't hold up. Only 2 gates before the finish and I had to take a Touch penalty to change the battery leaving me with a 4th Place finish, 3rd in points.
Big thank you to the event coordinators Bob Johnson for the class 1 and Marcus Streetman for class 2.
Would like to thank my sponsors Scalerfab Troy and Casey Loftus also Barry Janzen Classi Cut Customs for my tuff and ready trucks.
Next event in two weeks. Let's get me ready!
