Si estás armando una carrocería dura parte por parte, el parabrisas puede ser demasiado costoso para lo que es y, dependiendo de la carrocería, puede estar demasiado teñido para usarlo con un interior a escala. Cuando se trabaja con un cuerpo personalizado/impreso en 3D, es posible que simplemente no haya nada disponible.
Afortunadamente, existe una solución sencilla y económica en forma de láminas de plástico que se pueden adquirir en su tienda de hobby local. Para los propósitos de este proyecto, compré dos hojas K&S de 9x12 pulgadas por 4$, lo que es potencialmente suficiente para al menos 4 cuerpos; Definitivamente no arruinar el banco.
Para determinar a qué tamaño necesitarás cortar el plástico, usando una regla o un juego de calibres, mide la altura necesaria y el ancho en la parte superior e inferior del parabrisas (como se muestra arriba). Agregue 4 mm por lado, para un total de 8 mm; por ejemplo, si la medida inferior es de 150 mm, querrás que termine en 158 mm.
Con una regla y un lápiz, traza un trapezoide con tus medidas en la lámina de plástico transparente. El objetivo es que sea 4 mm más grande alrededor del marco del parabrisas. Pruebe el ajuste y recorte según sea necesario para rodear cualquier protuberancia interna del cuerpo. Una vez que esté satisfecho con el ajuste, colóquelo en su lugar (después de pintar es mejor para facilitar el enmascaramiento).
