Survival of the Fittest- ScalerFab Trail Armor Look-Back

ScalerFab Team Driver Dave Hall looks back on his 14 months of use on the ScalerFab K5 Trail Armor!

What a hectic month April had been! With thousands of hot cross buns to be made at work and a extremely busy period at Sydney Fox Rescue it hasn't left me much time for tiny truckin sadly.

So i thought I'd take a look back at how my ScalerFab Trail Armour has survived the last 14 months.

With my trucks I like to keep them looking as realistic as possible so when I first got picked for the ScalerFab Team in 2016 I ordered the stock replacements for my ascender k5 blazer. I got the full trail armour package which included a full size front bar, full size rear bar and rock sliders. They fit perfectly and looked so much better than the stock plastic bars.

I wish there were scale odometers so I could know exactly how far my truck has gone with these parts in the last 14 months but its easily put down to over 100 battery packs and quite a few kilometers of trails.

So with all that use and abuse I have no complaints! ScalerFab sure knows how to make quality products. My parts only have surface scratches from the rocks, no dents or bends or broken welds. Seriously tuff stuff! I'll let the before and after photos prove just that.
