Ordered the hybrid land anchor and upon arrival (these items are made by hand expect a wait time) only to find out the only part that matches the photos are the blades/wings on the back of the anchor and eyelit… the steel used is scale diameter but the bends, shovel head and length of the shank are not scale on top of the head of the anchor being perpendicular to the shank making it not do what its supposed to do accept in sand.. i reached out to see if things could be resolved and as stated he said he makes them by hand (this is completely fine his welds are great and strong !!) but he made changes to dimensions and said needs to update the photos which once again thats all fine and being hand made well there will be differences but the issue is without cutting it apart to correct the bends length and angle of the head i have a paperweight (ill have to do this whenever i can now find time…) of which he has no interest in resolving anything so im out my money and something i was super hyped about… lesson learned and unfortunately to say i will never be purchasing any items from scaler fab in the future nor will i ever recommend this company to any one in the rc/crawling community.
