This Low-Profile Prerunner bumper was designed to fit slightly larger-than-stock tire applications. The width is even with the edges of the body. 



Full-width Steel, welded Prerunner Series Front Bumper
for the SCX10 III Base Camp


Specifications:
- Made from 3/16" rod.
- Approx. 170mm wide. 
- Mounts using included hardware. Spacer/additional washers may be necessary.
- Steel construction - Hand Made/Welded.
- Does not fit a winch.
- Requires removal of stock bumper mount/plate. Bumper fits into the ends of the C-Channel.

 **Please Note: Our finish options provide a superficial coating and will scratch/chip under normal use. Pros/cons of each can be found below:

-Raw Steel: We recommend a raw steel finish if you want the scale patina of the bare metal, which will rust over time, or if you intend to coat with a harder finish on your own,

-Flat Black: not as susceptible to chips

Mounting Instructions:

1. Bumper is made to slide inside the c-channel of the frame rails. 


2. Use washers (included) or spacer (not included) between steering link and frame rails. Use longer screws (included). Back screws with a washer and nut. Does not require use of SCX10 III body-post mounting system.

Great bumper

Perfect fit!

I'll be honest, ended up using this on my scx10.3 with an aftermarket proline body instead of the factory "Toyota" truck. Man does it look amazing! I went for shackle mounts and a front winch fairlead. The full set of front and rear bumpers plus rock sliders is absolutely beautiful. Haven't gotten a chance to run it yet, but they seem very strong, great quality welds.

-Mounts using existing holes in frame rails. Washer and nut recommended- see mounting instructions below.
- Steel construction - Hand Made/Welded.

Mounting Instructions:
-Bumpers mounts to outside of frame rails, between the plastic fenders and the frame rails.

**For extra tight fit, use a dab of Shoe Goo or E6000 Clear Adhesive between the frame rail and the bracket, and screwing down tight with a nut, and let sit overnight.

SCX10iii Jeep CJ-7 winch bumper

Product looks great!!
Had to do some fabrication to bumper to make it fit
It must not have been test fitted after welding was done
I had to grind down left side where it fits inside the frame, bumper would not slide in far enough to insert bolts, it was hitting the bend in the frame.
I also had to drill out washers used to attach body, holes were not large enough to allow body posts to slide into place to secure body
I hope this information helps out, to prevent future issues.
I’m a huge fan of scalerfab and I have had nothing but great success with your products

- 190mm wide
- Requires removal of stick IFS Front Skid Plate
- Will not fit a bumper-mounted winch
- Mounts using existing holes in frame - does not mount like stock plastic bumper(s) (Longer hardware recommended- hardware not included- See Optional Bumper Hardware Pack available under Accessories)
- Steel construction - Hand Made/Welded.
- Has slots for adjustable fore/aft mounting

 **Please Note: Our finish options provide a superficial coating and will scratch/chip under normal use. Pros/cons of each can be found below:

 -Raw Steel: We recommend a raw steel finish if you want the scale patina of the bare metal, which will rust over time, or if you intend to coat with a harder finish on your own,

-Flat Black: Superficial matte black coating, will scratch under normal use.

Mounting instructions: 

*Recommend hardware mounting kits available at the top of the page as an optional add-on.**

We recommend removing any plastic cross-members and screwing directly into the frame rails with a nut on the back. For extra tight fit, use a dab of Shoe Goo or E6000 Clear Adhesive between the frame rail and the bracket, and screwing down tight with a nut, and let sit overnight. Recommend hardware mounting kits HERE or at the top of the page as an optional add-on.** Links to additional recommended extras can be found HERE.
